Jacquelyn Pische , mother of a Green Bay man who was shot and killed in an Appleton nightclub two years ago is pursuing a wrongful death suit against the shooter, 30-year-old Chong Leng Lee. Her son, 25-year-old Joshua Richards, was killed after being shot in the head following an altercation in the Luna Lounge.

At this point, Pische is asking for an unspecified award and punitive damages. Her suit alleges that Lee acted recklessly and in a “negligent manner” with a firearm.

This is not the first wrongful death case Pische has filed. She also filed a case against SB Entertainment, owners of the Luna Lounge, immediately following her son’s death, alleging that the club failed to employ enough security staff and neglected their duty to ensure their patrons were not carrying weapons. As a result, she was awarded $1.5 million in damages.
