Porsche Responds To Paul Walker Wrongful Death Suit

Porsche has finally responded to the wrongful death lawsuit filed by the 16-year-old daughter of the late Paul Walker in September. The lawsuit filed against Porsche claimed that negligence on the part of the car company led to the wrongful death of Fast and Furious movie star Paul Walker.

In recently filed court documents, the auto manufacturer fires back at the lawsuit claiming that Walker was, ultimately, responsible for his own death. The car company maintains that reckless driving and excessive speed, as listed in the police report were the reason for the fatal crash. The statement made by Porsche alleges that Walker knowingly assumed all the dangers and risks involved in driving a vehicle well over the speed limit.

Porsche also claims that the car in question had been “altered” and improperly maintained, which impeded proper function of the vehicle’s normal safety features.
